First try out with K10D and 100mm DFA Macro · 04:47 PM

Took advantage of the evening light in my back garden (hand held).

Still getting to grips with the camera so captured in JPEG the only PP is to crop slightly and reduce size of image to upload.

1/50th, f32, 400ISO, Centreweight meter, Spot auto focus.

First ever succesful image post!!

Wish it was bigger... like 600-800 pixels high. From what I can tell, it looks like a nicely composed shot. Looking forward to more of your meanderings in the macro world.

I agree the size is pretty small, the image I uploaded to the gallery was a much bigger, I think it has been automatically resized. I guess the best way to get a larger image included is to use an off site host?

Nice shot, a bit small to really see it, but it looks certainly good enough to be bigger
