Hi everyone. Sorry that I haven't been on here for the last few days. I just got back from my big boating trip and have around 1000 photos to sort through.

Here's 3 teasers to start you off with

The sails when we finally got a little wind


I'm glad that I wasn't on this boat which got grounded


And you just know that I had to snap some night photos while out there

Thankfully very few require any processing
The only ones that do were shot into the direct sun deliberately, just for the effect. (I want to try lightening the foreground)

I was there as the official photographer for a boating forum, although I got a little lesson included as well

Nice shots, I love the last one, how you are able to still see the deep blue of the sky and have that transition to the rich greens of the grass in the forefront. The reflections are nice and crisp, great shot.

I knew that both you and Salty would like the series Sailor I wish that I could go out as often as you both do. With a little luck I'll be looking for a sail boat in the fall, when boat prices drop here.

I really like the way the last 1 turned out as well Buddha. There was a light to the right giving the grass that perspective. I've got a picture showing it from another location that I'll post on another thread sometime today
