Well, after the responses of several members I decided to clean-up this image and see what you think of it now. Comments always appreciated.

From memory, this is a very good refinement of the original.
Crisp and well composed - it's a winner.

Thanks Ash, I ran it through levels, unsharp mask, and noise ninja to get it to this point. Oh, and I also edited out the other surfer from the background. Ray
