Vivitar 105 shots from the weekend

#2) Katydid Nymph (Thanks, Roy) on Bronze Fennel (Great plant for attracting beneficial and photographic bugs

#3) Hover Fly - 1/160s f/5.6 at 100.0mm iso200

#4) Butterfly Weed - Asclepias Tuberosa - flower buds just before opening
1/500s f/3.5 at 100.0mm iso400

Thank you! The mantids are some of my favorite "critters" and they are absolutely fascinating to watch... they look as if they're from another planet.

Thank you and you will find your groove with this lens... and when you do... WATCH OUT!!!

It is a wonderful piece of equipment and it's nice being able to get these types of images from a piece of glass produced 15+ years ago.
