Meet Eva Marie
Posted By: OrenMc, 11-15-2009, 05:54 AM

I seen this sweet lady crossing the street and headed to the bus stop. I decide to ask her if I could take her photo and I am so glad I did.
She is 79 years old and has an incredible memory for names and dates. Life is difficult but she has a great sense of humor. It was a real pleasure spending some time with her.
Shot with DA* 16-50.

I wish I would have thought to slip on my 77 Limited.

Hope you enjoy!
Oren

Fantastic job. Sure she was to talk to you. It makes think what kind of "modern" society is this one that let an old woman live in the street

Good stuff Oren. Does she really live on the streets?
She must have had quite a story to tell.

At frist she was a little put off, she said that everyone wanted to take a picture of her. But I explained my interest and she warmed up to me after that.

Thank you Ash,
I really didn't ask her where she was living but she was headed to a storage unit to get some dry clothes. I think the street thing is more by choice. But we did have quite a talk. She let the first bus go by to continue our conversation.

She told me about being a Kelly Girl and working in the western states. About a bus accident and a stabing that she survived. She seemed very trouble by the many burdens that life seems to bring. But we did laugh and I think she enjoyed the time we shared. I know I did.

Great experience Oren.

No problems Ash, I am not real familiar myself but I believe it was a Temp employment agency and the women they used to staff were called Kelly Girls.
