Well while my girlfriend was getting her self ready, I edited this image.



The image was taken during a work shop I had yesterday.. we had 3 brides and 2 makup artists .

Stunning capture with creative lighting, as usual Eric.
A hard exposure given the reflective, white dress and open room environment.

What about after the shoot? what sort of processing was done in Photoshop/Lightroom to finish it off?

just some cloning to the wall, dodge and burn to her skin to give her mor glow.. curves adjustment on the background.. and back to lightrom to change color settings and temperature.

Hard to select between version one and two.

How did you mean, you had to make the model aware of the wide angle effect ?

I like the second version a lot more. The colour temperature matches the expression on her face.

Also the reflection on her forehead looks less blown.

I personally don't like it when humans look like dolls (the skin is just too smooth) but I guess that look is desired for fashion and similar photography.

Very good lighting, showing lots of experience, but you know that yourself, Eric.

Another vote for #2 - suits the chilled out look and strong contrast well.
Definitely smoothed out the lights but I think the bottom of the frame didn't have to be burned that much.
Well done in any case.

To me she has a manequin look to her.Nice editing in 10 minutes devisor.Imaging what you could achive if you had 20!!!

Can you tell me (I know you probably won't) how to do skin like thak in 10min? It takes me 30min and it still doesn't look like that!
