I miss you guys!

It's been a while since I've posted anything here with the switch to Canon and all. Since I promised to drop in from time to time, I figured I'd post a few images from a few recent shoots...

There are some lovely shots in your collection. The only critisism I have is that they were shot with a Canon.

A Canon?? I thought it was a Holga?

Just kidding....please don't hunt me down and bludgeon me with your L lenses.

Thanks guys. I think there is more to the camera thing than you would think. There are quite a few things I lost in the switch. Sure, I gained FF and better low-light, high ISO performance, but there are a few things I miss dearly (TAv mode, Pentax menus, Limiteds, DA* lenses). Most of all I miss this forum and all the friends I made here. THat's one reason I'll never be totally gone. In fact, I plan on picking up a K200D and 10-17 for some fisheye shooting.

Nice to see ya back Alan - those are some nice shots - glad it's working out for you. Getting a Fisheye is a must I know you have posted some great shots with that. Enjoy the new found tools and employ the same passion and you'll be just fine.

I am pretty good - nope it's an anomaly for sure - We had about a week of snow and cold in early October - by mid October it cleared up and since then we have set some records for temperatures - today included (it will be 14C here today about 57 F ) so we can't complain !

Although photography wise I have been hurting for about the last 5 - 6 weeks as there is no foliage, and everything is colorless so I am kinda looking forward to some snow. If we don't get it we have a little USD Thanksgiving trip planned so I should at least have some new stuff to shoot.

Sounds like you are doing well great to hear.

Who are you?

Looks like the new kit is working out for you Alan mate. It's nice to hear from you. You've got an excuse to hang around more now that we have the off brand forum.

Hi Alan.
Good to see you posting here again.
Your images are a joy to see. Love your model work. I'd liked to have seen a little more front-end flash on #4 and 5 to bring out her face some more but I love the concepts.
Brilliant mate.
Hope you continue to see you here!

Hi Alan, very nice series. I looked at the whole series, very impressive work and some nice PP. I don't care what you shoot with, it's only a tool so do drop by once in a while.

Hey Gary. I've peeked in there from time to time. How's the little one doing? Asking for the keys to the car yet?
