I miss you guys!
Posted By: maxwell1295, 11-16-2009, 05:24 PM

It's been a while since I've posted anything here with the switch to Canon and all. Since I promised to drop in from time to time, I figured I'd post a few images from a few recent shoots...

Portrait session with Ryan (more on the blog here)

Alan, nice to hear from you. They are all nice but I really like the studio lit portraits. Dave
None of these were shot in a studio.....2-5 and 10 were all done on location with off-camera hotshoe flashes. The others were all natural light.

Hey Alan, nice to see you around again. I had a bit of a tinfoil hat moment the other day when facebook suggested I friended you. How the f.. could facebook know we visit the same forum? (since that's our only connection). Perhaps it was a random suggestion - I hope so!

Hey Kevin, maybe we have some common friends? I have Gary and Rosemary (rmtagg) as FB friends. I think it makes suggestions based on that...

How's the little one doing? Asking for the keys to the car yet?

Thanks!

She's doing great Alan thanks, she hasn't asked for the keys to the car yet but we just got her one of those walkers so she's mobile. Only problem is, she only does reverse.

Hey Dave.....how goes it? You snowed in up there yet?
You should ask him if there is any daylight in Edmonton this time of year, Without snow to reflect the moonlight, I bet it is pretty dark! Dave

Fooled me... 4 and 5 look like they are shot against a studio backdrop. Dave

Hey guys! Hope everyone is doing well. I figured I'd pop back in here and post a few images (it's been a while). I have some film in the Super Program but haven't gotten around to finishing up the roll yet.

BTW, I've been in touch with Rosemary (rmtagg) and spoke to her on the phone just last month. I don't know if she's popped in here or not, but she's doing well and has been busy doing what she does....taking photos.

Alan, it's good to hear from you and this is a very nice and innovative series. They are all good but I really like the last one. Thanks for dropping by.

Some nice shots there. Seems you are enjoying your 5D.
Are you planning to come back to Pentax with 645D?

... seriously, nice to hear from you, with shots like those, no matter what they were taken with, you are always welcome to pop in IMO.

You could get an 85/1.2 and really make us bleed. God damn I would love that lens.

Nice images

Thanks guys. The 85/1.2 is on my long list, but not a priority. I'll get the Sigma 15mm Fisheye, 45mm Tilt/Shift and 135/2 first.
