These beautiful flowers are known as Dayflowers, they're a member of the Spiderwort family. They open in the morning, and close later in the day.

Love the first one and the last one has a lot of detail which most likely looks a lot better full size. I think I know what I'm going to plant sometime as these are very gorgeous little plants. Great series Matthew!

Didn't even have to plant these flowers, they're wild, I'd never noticed them before because they're in the backyard of my new house, and we'ed only been there in the afternoon before.
