Seattle Greyscale (Updated)
Posted By: Sirfishalot, 11-21-2009, 10:23 PM

Here is an image taken from Rich Passage on Puget Sound looking toward downtown Seattle. Two images stitched from the K20D & FA*300/4.5. Converted in Lightroom & processed in CS3.

Very impressive picture Jay, but there is one thing that gets my attention, there were 2 exactly the same mountains in the back.

Willem,
Thanks. Wow, that totally slipped by me the whole time working on the image
Well, it is two seperate exposures and likely from slightly different vantage points as I shot this from a moving ferry boat. Maybe the stitching can be reworked to fix this, but I don't know if CS3 Photomerge is up to the task.

It is still an excellent cityscape. I don't usually recommend removing elements, but the seagulls are so small you might want to clone them out.
