I went up a mountain yesterday afternoon, mainly to make a few shots with the newly bought DA*60-250 lens, but also to get out of the fog. I went on "Les Pléiades", a small mountain on 1400m above sea level overlooking Lake Geneva in Switzerland:

Excellent series but of all these great shots, the 12th one must be framed sometime soon. That is a stunning image!

Have you posted a review or comparison of the 2 cameras? Theres a lot of talk that the KX sensor is better than the K-7 in some respects. What do you think?

Btw the 60-250mm looks incredible wide open.

Peter: I have not done a publishable side by side comparison yet. In regards of noise, the K-x does much better than the K-7, but the K-x applies noise reduction even on the RAW files. I have not yet been able to get with the K-x inlower ISO nearly as much details as the K-7, so far I think it is due to different focusing, but the noise reduction does certainly not help.

So far, on high ISO shots, I do prefer the K-x. For shots below 800iso, I do prefer the K-7 showing better color rendition, more details and a much better user interface.
