Spiders up close always shock and awe me

I would try to setup your shots so the background bokeh compliments the subject, which it does not in these pictures.

Also, my screen may be extremely dirty, but it appears you have a few dust spots

I know the background doesn't do these shots any justice but you work with what you have. I shot it actually from inside a paper coffee cup, only way to keep it at bay.
I was wanting to do a little PP and add some vignetting or something to take away the distracting background but alas I am lacking in skills. Something I need to work on is figuring out how to utilize my software.

BTW, thank you for the critique, its always welcome.

Nice OrenMc,

You seem to be putting your new A 100/2.8 macro to good use. This lens is a blast isn't it?

Thank you 8540tomg, it is a keeper for sure.

Heres a shot I played around with and added lighting effects. I wish I knew how to use my software better. I guess that is one thing I will be working on more during this winter when things slow down a bit.

I wouldn't be visiting you anytime soon with pets like that.
Excellent detail and setting for your closeups on this lil' fella.
