Several vintage race cars from Sonoma this last weekend - the last one is the car they used to model Doc Hudson for the movie Cars.

I really like your pictures, especially the Fabulous Hudson Hornet. I am a big Cars fan, and that picture is sweet!

The number 9 car is gorgeous too.

I am the Editor of a motorsports news site, and when we received press releases from Infineon about this event, I was very curious to see the different types of cars. Thanks for sharing! Great work!

Very nice. I'm trying to remember the make of the red #5 car - which is my favorite.

you mean the 5th picture, car #9 - somebody on another forum said it is a 1958 Ferrari Testarosa.

The first 2 are Porsche 930 Slope/Slant Noses. The 3rd is of course the Porsche 911. That 4th car looks like a 911 with some body work... but the nose is protruded too much past the lights and the A-Pillar is at the wrong angle compared to any other Porsche I have seen. I am still not old on that one yet. The red car is a 1950's Ferrari Testarosa. The last car, everyone who has a funny one or kids should recognize.

Oh, and nice shots man.

I think that is a pre-911 car, I'm not really up on my history of Porsche, but I don't believe that is a 911.

Thanks for the nice comments My son and I had a great time. He was a bit annoyed at me for taking so many pictures (~490), but at least this time very few were of him!

Panning to follow most of these cars wasn't bad - they weren't going F1 speeds! but looking at them now, I think if I do it again, I'll slow the shutter down some to get more blur in the background...
