I took this at a recent Lighting Essentials seminar. I took approx 2 dozen shots to get this one. I used a DA*55 at f8 (if I remember correctly--I do not have access to my EXIF right now) and one umbrella with a bit of natural lighting. Processed in CS4 and Photo Tools 2.0 for a bit of a cross processed look.

Not bad at all.
Hair looks a little messy, but it captures the essence of her character nicely.
The original (ie. not uploaded and grossly compressed version) would be great to see all the detail shine through...

Thanx for your comments. ASH, you are right--this is a highly compressed version. I am away for the Thanksgiving holiday and have been meaning to post this photo--so I just pulled it off of my Facebook account.
