My Street

Still enjoy using my K10D as a street camera and the DA 50 f1.4 lens. Like the grain. This was taken in front of a little hotel on Rue Tholozé in Paris, France. My street.

Nice character and charm captured Ben. I think this would make an interesting B&W. I might change the crop though to get rid of the blurred figure in the shadows on the lower left.

Street shot from Ben! Thought I'd never see the day...
Interesting result - not my fave from you, but indeed it does have a charming element to it.
Thanks for sharing.

That is very funny...Different perspectives. I actually was waiting for someone to walk by to place them in juxtaposition to the receptionist. I took several images of pedestrians walking by and this worked best. That is why I was amused by your remark.

Now that's interesting Ben. The second I noticed him, I wished he was in the door window. I liked the motion blur of him passing but not so much that he's hard to spot. I get your point though. The receptionist is clearly visible, the street walker is much less so and they are both moving in the same direction.

Fun thing about art, you see things differently than I do and everyone else, that makes it interesting.

Ben,

Nice change of pace for you. I like the use of the man in the lower left I think it balances the image.
