Dragon Fly and new HDR

Went out to the park to see the matured dragonfly's and here are a few winners from that trek.

Taken with Sigma 105mm Macro and AF360 flash set to High speed sync mode all ISO 100.

I also took new shots for a redo on the Mill HDR with a new lens that I got for a steal.

Tamron 28-75 2.8 at ISO 100 5 shot HDR.

As always C&C is welcome and I'm happy to explain any techniques used if you'd like to hear them.

Chris,

imho the 3rd dragonfly is the best of the series,
although nr1 is a perfect sharp shot I find it a bit to close cropped.
Nr2 has a to busy background for my liking.

The HDR is much more real world as the previous. (I do like it better)
You might have gotten away with telling it was just a shot with some PP.
For me there are two ways to go with Hdr, as close as possible to the real world, or completely over the hedge.

The last 3 shots are really outstanding.

For some reasons, I really like the 2nd shot where the dragonfly was actually positioned at right upper corner with the interesting bokeh on the left intertwinning with bokeh. Maybe this is distracting for some people, I personally find it most appealing. I got a restless mind :P

Really nice colour and composition. Great shots

#1 is fantastic. Your HDR image is pretty, but overall weak for a typical HDR image.
