Very nice, Ash. The light really makes a difference for #1, 2 and 3.
But my favourite is #4!

Thanks to you all for the comments.
I went unorthodox with the impressionist attempt, adding blown out sky and flare in the image, so I guess it didn't work out all that well.

Personally I like the last image best. Just crop out the white sky and it is a fine image.

JMR - to be honest I tried that shot to see what you thought - I don't like it all that much myself.
But I've edited it upon your advice to see how it turns out...

I like 1 and 2 Ash.

I should forget the birds for a while and try some landscapes for a change.

Landscapes are a little easier than birds... so give it a go next time you feel frustrated by the little darters.
