Very nice pictures.
The lens looks tack sharp !
I am considering getting one of these. How do find the AF performance of this Tamron?

Beautiful photos. Great colours, well composed, great detail. The Tamron lens in particular seems to be working really well with the K-x.

What are your impressions of the K-x based on your usage of it so far?

Thank you Pepe and rawr.

Tamron AF performance are very good and fast, especially for a binary compatible with kx. K10D and K20D used previously for 2 years. AF presented a better performance Kx.

Kx a faster frame. Light and handy. Fine with Sanyo eneloop battery time. Menus as you can see more advanced and raw processing performance is great.

Sits a little small but well-handled. Shutter sound unusual at the hardness is more pleasant to the ear.

Does K-x have focus correction function somwhere in the menu? I can't find this info at dslr reviews section.
Btw, great pictures, I really like the colors. Are this shots at f2.8?

No, the K-x has no focus correction options in the standard menu. However there is a hack that lets you enter a special debug menu and make those adjustments if you really want to. However unlike the K-7 or K20D, any focus adjustment settings aren't saved for each lens.

It's the lens.
That's what we're looking at here - the products of a fine yet much maligned lens.
Get a good one of these, and you're set.
Beautiful, sharp images here, and it seems the K-x is up to the task of AF with this big lens.
How much faster do you find the AF of the 70-200 on the Kx vs. your old K20D?

I would love to pick up one of these lenses but B&H increased it from 680 to 720, so I will have to wait until some day... If it ever comes, to pick one up. Although it might not ever happen.

the manual focus is with Kx. no problem ! Just as the focus points of the red light does not come all. However, the hexagonal light and sound warning viewfinder is very helpful.

AF is a bit faster if done according to K20D. However, in processing speed faster than Prime 2 processors that for sure. Exposure compensation is the result gives more light.
