Took a old Friend out
Posted By: Jimbo, 12-01-2009, 02:58 PM

Last week I headed to the Grey Cup [the US Super Bowl of Canada] in Calgary Alberta. Took off a a day and went fishing with a buddy and ended up just taking photo's. The old friend was my K10 and the Tamron 18-250 which all these photos [along with a few hundred more] were taken with. The Grey Cup was great up to the last three minutes where the West finally lost [time had run out when the final field goal went in for the win] Tough lost for around 40,000 Raider fans there and the other 3-4 million in the restg of Canada. Oh well, Hope you enjoy the photo;s. JIM

LOoing week. Last Tuesday we were on the Fraser between Chilliwack and Harrison lake all. That shot of the log was more towards the Harrison. [there are plenty of them on the sand bars. On Wed we flu to Edmonton and met up with a few guys for dinner then drove to Calgary Thursday for the real party which ended about 3:00 AM Monday morning. This is about my 8th Grey Cup, Next year Edmonton and then BC. Thanks for looking and commenting. JIM

Really like that first shot Jim. So, I read something about a last fling with your old friend- the K10. You can't just toss away your old friend like some people do golf clubs, you will get in trouble Still have mine and still shoot jpegs only.
