Car Show "abstracts" Greenwich Show
Posted By: mutley, 06-11-2007, 09:31 PM

The background and ambiance of the Greenwich Connecticut car show was very busy, so I did closer sections of various cars, etc. with my K10D and either 18-55 kit lens, or Tamron 70-300mm LD Di. Jpegs from the start. RAW was not involved.

Some more in next post.

If this is not too monotonous....here's more from the Greenwich show:

And, of course, my car at the show:

Thanks Charlie. I really appreaciate your comment as on this forum my type of photography generally gets no comments, and pictures of the kids, flowers or insects (all being great) generate many.

Thanks for looking.

Nice shots. I meant to go to that show but never made it. My favorites are the cars with the stucco finishes.

Nice T-Bird! What a nice bunch of cars and pictures. I like your close-up style. We don't get that kind of quality at the car shows here.

Vintage cars are very cool. Ya done good! Definitely not the usual 'bugs, buds and brats' shots. I was at a vintage English sports car show last year and snapped up a storm. Keep up the great work. BTW - nice T'Bird!

Very nice series! I love the different perspective. I especially like the 2nd in the first set, and the fourth in the second set. You've given me some ideas for the next time I go to a car show.

The colors are sharp that green is very cool - nice perspective indeed , most your shots show a true photgraphers eye. And like others the that T-bird is a pipe dream of mine ....

Nice collection of photos. I really like getting in close for the details on classic cars. they have such interesting design elements.
I have a lot of shots from car shows that I took with my Fuji. I have only been to one so far with my Pentax. I have one about every weekend for the next couple of months.
Keep posting,
Will

Good collection, I like the interesting perspectives. My favorites are the second in the second post and the second one in the third post. I also like the wide shot of the Lincoln front end. Makes me want to get out to some more shows as soon as possible.

What a pleasure these images are. Looks like a pretty eclectic car show - lots of variety. Congrats.

These are just too cool! I love the results you have here... very crisp, vibrant colors, great perspectives... I could go on and on. If I had to pick my favorite from above, I would have to say "All of them!"
