Hi,

This weekend we were making preparations for christmas so it was decoration time. I took some photos with my K-x.

Your comments would be appreciated.

Thanks

My 2c times 5:

#1 has potential but spoilt by the white divider on the wall
#2 charming and whimsical. OOF green tree limbs in the background work well to tie it all togther.
#3 lacks a clear subject / focal point. Lighting doesn't work for me regardless.
#4 Another nice one. I love the dog staring at the mail box. R edge / LR corner is kind of messy and maybe deserves cropped out.
#5 Nice lighting and exposure. The star filter seems subtle (a good thing in my opinion).

Thank you for taking time to look at my photos.
For the #4, I agree that I should crop a little bit the photo so the subject will be better framed.

Alexx, these images are good for the family album but don't quite work too well otherwise.

Mark's said it right, #1 distracted by the divider, #2 a little overexposed with lack of contrast, #3 is too warm and isn't engaging, #4 is unfortunately marred by a lot of competing clutter and #5 is a little dark and offers little to see.

Keep at it as you can only get better.
