I am falling deeply in love with photography daily, too bad weathers been crap the last few days here in California. This is with the kit lens.

Any critique would be appreciated as this is my first time in photography!

Wow, I really like the one with the flower. The detail is perfect and the colors are very nice as well. It's so sharp that you can actually see the little pollen on the ends of the flower. This photo is really nicely done and thanks for sharing it.

Thanks, Cory. The sun was coming through the window late in the day, and someone had brought flowers which were sitting in a vase. I stopped the lens down quite a bit to try to get more depth of field. This is going to be fun.
