My Favorite from todays Series
Lens: 16mm Camera: K20 ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 2s Aperture: F13.5
Posted By: Jimbo, 12-13-2009, 01:11 PM

After seeing this one, versus the others, this would be my favorite of the series. The balance between the foreground and sky is slightly better then the rest IMO and the sky is not blown out like the others. Cheers JIM

There aren't too many who can take a better landscape photo than you. Just a lovely touch with the driftwood.

Was my favourite also Jim.
Here, you've muted the colours and given the scene a more subdued look.
Good all the same.
Nicely done.

Nice image Jim, the dark muted colors give it a lonely feeling and a haunted look.

Appreciate your kind words. A lot of folks here helped me along the way along with 10,000's crappy ones, I get lucky once in awhile. Cheers. JIM

So you got it. The only difference on this from the others was shutter speed. [little quicker here. It's a balancing act for sure. JIM

Ash, here is a shot between the two. This looks awesomw as a screensaver. It is slightly darker from the download. It was one of those beautiful mornings. JIM

The mood of this image is just incredible. Subdued in a way that it doesn't really feel subdued. It just feels vivid and alive, but at the same time almost fairy-taleish in appearance. This is truly a fantastic image (all of the images in the series, really). Please tell me it's going to PPG?

Great shot...

Excellent photo. Very evocative. Lonely is the sense I get from it.

Great landscape image Jim...you have a real gift of making your landscape photos come alive as though we are seeing them with the naked eye!
