Last year, i had 5 pictures win in the 2008 All Army Digital Photography contest. 3 at the Korea level and 2 at the All Army level. Today we had the awards ceremony for the 2009 contest at the Korea level. Again i had 3 winning pictures, that i would like to share. Hopefully like last year i might have some photos win at the All Army level.

"Seattle's Pike Place Market"
This Picture won 1st Place for Active Duty/Place/Monochrome category

" A Little to Hot"
This Picture won 3rd Place for Active Duty/Experimental/Monochrome category

"Choonghyun Church"
This Picture won Honorable Mention for Active Duty/Place/Monochrome

Somehow by looking at the first picture I almost can hear the background noise of people and activity that is going on. Very nice and lively (is that even a real word?) picture.

Congrats! What time did you hit the Fish Market to find it so empty??? I can't recall ever seeing that part of the market not jammed with people...

Jim,

It was actually quite busy that day, just happened to get a shot without many people in front of the stand. That picture was taking mid June of this year.
