Tuesday night, a third storm did hit us and it was really bizarre. It came from the North-Northeast and traveled to the South-West, which is very unusual. This is the roll cloud:
*istDS Zenitar 16mm 1/500s 400ISO f5.6
(3 minutes later) 800ISO f2.8
(another 3 minutes later)
I took a huge number of shots of this roll cloud and intend to make an avi of it. It’s pretty cool to watch them progress, especially since it rolled in from a totally different direction. There was a lot of lightning behind this storm, but unfortunately it was also pouring down rain and the wind was gusting to about 40mph at times. Not ready to risk my K10D in that type of weather yet. HA!
