Milky Way in 30s

Milky Way in 30s.
Taken on a tropical beach with a mini tripod. Using a K-x, ISO 1600 and heavyly pushing levels in post processing.

The glow at the lower half is from the hotel near the beach.

In the upper left part, you can see the Andromeda galaxy (M31).

I am not amused that the forum software added a location which is wrong actually. Would it have read the embedded GPS coordinates, fine. But Munich has no tropical beach

Woh, Falk.
You really pushed the limits with this one.
Lots of chroma noise but lots of clear stars too!
The K-x has shown it's capable of astrophotography once again...

Simply a great photo Falk. When I can see all those stars and a galaxy too, I don't care about noise.
Was there a lot of ambient light on the beach?

No, I couldn't see my step. But when pushing exposure I could see that a hotel in the distance was bright enough to cause shadows in the beach's sand hills. So, there was some light. But not enough to walk. I used the K-x power LED to find my step
