This photo reminds me of the 1970's and the photo style, lighting, contrast, and colours that graced a lot of the magazines that circulated back then. I have quite a few books (shot by professionals), some by Kodak, Ilford, Fuji, etc. that all offer this look. With the lighting available, film development, and post editing what it was, the tools, product, and process, did have an impact on the final product and what many of us came to know.
I like this photo for many reasons, beautiful model, playful pose, pleasing composition, and because it offers a different look and feel.
Who knows, 20 years from now plastic wax like skin and lighting that would almost never be found naturally will seem out of place - models may also reflect the height to weight ratio of the average public, and pictures will all be 3D.
