K100d FA 50/1.4 hand held with no flash. I wanted to catch the boys reflection in the glass as the Komodo dragon approached us. I think it worked out pretty good.

Ah, nice incidental result.
Would have been perfect with the head of the dragon in focus, but the boy's face looking in with intrigue adds lots of value to this capture.
A good reason not to use a CPL filter.

Thanks. I had just removed my CPL after getting some good shots of the dragon, when I noticed the boy staring in awe. I should have kicked the ISO up and get a smaller aperture and better DOF. Part of the issue with the dragons head is also the reflection of the boys body, but as you noted it is also out of my DOF.
