K 20 is up and running Again
Lens: 14mm Camera: K20 Photo Location: Maple Ridge ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1s Aperture: F13.5
Posted By: Jimbo, 12-27-2009, 12:17 PM

Shot htis one early this morning with my K20 which went for a swim yesterday. I think the key was I did not turn it on and got the battery crip off before starting to dry out the camera body. Wrapped it in a towel over night and its working again.

I got lucky on this shot as the fog just lifted enough, as the sun was rising, to get this level. Had a ND8 on and very little time on PP'ing the image. Little adjustment in levels and bumped up the contrast slightly on the creek. This is also a new location for me and I think it has a lot of potential. There are also 10-15 Heron nests in the area so time to set up my blind. Hope you like the image. I do! JIM

That is an awesome shot, Jim. The lighting is breathtaking. Welldone!

I reckon you breathed a sigh of relief, when the K20 took its first shot after the dip

Actually its due from the fog. I didn't notice it until I got back to the car. I need to make sure I carry a cloth during foggy mornings. I will clean this up. Thank you for commenting. JIM
