I'm a newbie. need some opinions

You've got potential there, friend.
#2 is just spectacular. I mean it stands out radiantly like a striking work of art.
The colour play and creative framing to capture the beams of light have worked in beautiful harmony in the image. It is so well rendered that it takes all the attention away from the blown highlights of the bird (my only negative critique on this image).

#1 is also attractive, but the red colouring is overdone a little IMO - basically because it's starting to look too unnatural. It's an excellent concept, though.
#3 is too highly processed with one of those photoshop filters that I cannot appreciate it as well as a naturally rendered image.

Again, #2 is simply stunning. Love it.
