I practiced my bird shooting today. It was still a bit too dark but managed to get something. (Should have used a tripod also...)

Any tips and/or comments are more than welcomed!

Sharp captures here mate.
These are definite keepers and tough to get with or without camera support.
Well done.

Nice ones, I thought I had problems with the Robin, but I wasn't alone, you made far the better job of it.

Well done.

You are absolutely right - nice to see some colors among all the snow.
First and last one are photos of a Blue tit and the second is photo of a Great tit.

Nice images, Joni. I dig the contrast between the colorful bird and the more "monochrome" background. Super job.

They are pretty good, Joni. It's like Sailor said, the bokeh background really works well with the birds and creates a wonderful harmony of blues, greys and whites, and even the yellow is subdued and works with the blues.

Good shots. Nice color and good depth of field.

Hope your feeding our "little friends". They sure need it when the ground is covered with snow. Without our little friends the insect world would over run us in no time, besides they are pretty. Especially when you can get good pictures of them and share. Thanks.
