Both beautiful shots. I especially like the first. Beautiful contrasting colours in the sky. I think uploading it at 800 pixels wide would have done it greater justice.

Hi Kenn,

I, too, like both shots very much. But the first has to be my favorite, also for the contrasting colors. The land areas, on both sides of the photo, adds such a nice touch, too. Great shots.

I love the way the sunbeams "spray" out from behind the clouds in the first shot! Subtle, but they're definately what makes the shot for me.

Beautiful shot!

Thank you guys for your comments. Honestly, i'm on the learning stage for DSLR photography. Just bought the K100D last Feb. and it's very much "learning" involve compared with a P&S super zoom.

I like the second one best, because you get to see more of that setting sun and the boat makes it a much more interesting picture than if it had been just the ocean imho. a very nice sunset shot.
