Hah! My thoughts exactly! This is the sort of thing (along with my own testing) which lets me keep filters on my lenses for protection despite the naysayers

I jumped when the first picture finally loaded for me. I wasn't expecting that close of a shot! Amazing!

Looks like he's about ready to jump on your lens, despite there being two panes of glass in the way.
