Nature LA Zoo - Boring

I took my 18-55 Kit Lens so I couldn't get closeup shots. Not sure if it's me but the zoo actually was sorta boring. I took many but here are the memorable ones

love the ones of the lions.....everytime we go to the zoo the lions do nothing but sleep...photos just look like a lump in the grass

yea guys, this zoo was pretty depressing. A lot of the exhibits were closed and the animals just weren't lively. I wouldn't blame them... Thanks Andi, it wasn't must of a shot but LBA kicked in and I felt victim to the DA 55-300

I just ordered it. The whole time at the Zoo, I blamed myself for not getting a telephoto lens ^^

I'm surprised they were shot with a kit lens...looks like you were shooting with the 55-300

You'll love the DA 55-300 when you get it...a great lens for the money. BTW...with that last shot shouldn't you have labled this post...not work-safe? lol

I'll keep that in mind. By the way, any of you guys know why the lions always look so pissed off after gettin jiggy withit? I can understand the lioness, because it was like 10 seconds long

Just more examples of K-x showing the goods rendition is great the animals you captured are good for the kit lens the 55-300 will be a bonus for you TFS

thankyou, the lion pic is actually cropped as it was far away. I also sharpened it, a little too much I think

I will have to visit the zoo again when the lens arrives tomorrow yay
