Okay, so I wasn't working the weather-resistance of my gear too hard. But it was the first time I've had my K-7 and DA* combo out in any precipitation. We got a few inches of snow here in Dayton today, and I thought I'd walk around the neighborhood to find something interesting to shoot. Unfortunately, the light was fading, and nothing was making me feel inspired.
But on my way back to the house, I noticed that my lens hood had caught a few flakes. (And quite a few had melted on the top of the lens and camera bodies...no worries though). I quickly changed lenses to snap a pic of Pentax weather-sealed gear doing what it does best. I like how the "*" happened to place itself right after the logo..a bit of serendipity.
Shot with a K-7 and DA* 16-50mm. 1/50 sec, f/2.8, ISO 800. Only PP was a little cropping and noise reduction.
