Used the DA*300mm..
What metering do you bird guys use? I used spot for this shot.

ISO 160...(: not 1600 as in title

Well done Adrian - that came up a treat! The green reflected in the water works really well.

I think I was using centre weighted, but I was also using a flash, so my one reasonable shot came out very differently than yours - I will post it today some time.

Nice shot.
White birds are difficult to pull out detail so center weighted was probably best.
