First of all I would like a somewhat larger one to comment on, but okay...
Second: good you bumped it, it can be quite disturbing when nobody comments !

Okay, said that: your pic. I like the idea of the two different conifers, with different (subtle) colours.
The blown lights in the left upper corner are somewhat disturbing though, the more
since the blue (hemlock?/sitka?) spruce needs some contrast in the background to stand out.
Could see this one in a textbook on forestry in the chapter of different tree species !

I'm trying to make it larger, but it's not working too well. I'll re upload to a new host.
Thanks, I was sort of afraid of bumping it, but yeah I saw a lot of views but no comments and it's a bit frustrating.

That being said, this is a picture I'm proud of simply because it was taken with my first day with this camera (or any DSLR for that matter). So I didn't have much idea on what I was doing, but this one seemed to be pretty decent.
I agree with the light in the upper left corner.
And no idea on the species, was just part of my walk. Sorry!

Thanks for the C&C!!! Much appreciated.
