This is what ISO 3200 used to look like!

It's pretty damn remarkable what modern cameras like the K-X can do compared to film. Now, I've mostly converted to film, but I don't think I'll be shooting much more at 3200, even though the grain has a charm of sorts. I can't remember which camera or lens I used for these, but this is Ilford Delta 3200 developed in Rodinal. Maybe others get better results at 3200, I don't know. I can't vouch for my exposure or developing technique.

nice classic shots, love that film grain, need to learn to emulate it well on digital

While high-iso noise is generally ugly and undesirable out of a digital camera, if they could make it somehow look more like film grain I think it would be acceptable.

emulating film takes a little time or a plugin.
