This is from the same trip as the first one. This was taken half an hour earlier.
Which one do you like better?

I prefer this one! The dunes look pretty peculiar, so they make photo stand out. They are both gorgeous landscapes, but those dunes add that little bit of something to me.

Also my preferred version.
The dramatic sky beautifully complements the well textured scene.
If anything, I would have warmed up the snow area with a boost of exposure and cooled down the sky area for a more colour-balanced scene, but this is just brilliant.
Love it!

Joni, please stop posting these beautiful pics, it makes me feel a dummy with my camera
Both are great, but I like this one better. Composition is a little tighter,
and the foreground/snow is more interresting in this one. THe change in light on the snow -
blue-orange-blue is great! What's under these 'dunes'? Are they
really caused by wind, or is there vegetation underneath?

There are canes under the snow and some of them are taller than others.

Haha, makes me feel like a dummy too! more than usual

Joni, I really like this image, slightly more than your other one. Basically for the same reasons as Rense, composition is slightly better for me and it has a bit more impact. However your other image is really good on those points too, just for me this one is even better. Nice job there
