The Acropolis
Lens: 50mm Camera: K1000 Photo Location: Athens, Greece ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/250s Aperture: F11

Taken around 92 while on a Med cruise when I was in the Navy.

Ah yes, the popular scene of the historical city.
This shot has been preserved reasonably well.

Interesting perspective; I look at the bottom and think maybe it's taken on an angle, but then I look at the top and change my mind...
I like it.. and wish I could see this myself.

I stood at this very spot myself once. Great memories. Your shot has held up much better than my old shots did. Nice.

Nice, back when you could go up to the steps of the temple and get a view from mere feet away. Were you the first one up that day, seems almost no one else around!!

Yeah, I had to wait and wait till there were fewer people in the frame. I have many other photos like this one, but this is the only one printed (8X10) that I could scan. Pre digital days with modest equipment.

Indeed ! Very intriguing... The columns at the back (left) are clearly vertical, while those on the right side are not. Ultra wide-angle lens ?

Same lens that came with the camera

50mm F2.0.............I just moved my body till I framed the shot like I was "hoping" to capture!
