Finding a Happy Medium
Lens: 12mm Camera: K20 Photo Location: Vernon ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/2s Aperture: F11

I have been playing around with this image. [thanks Rense!!] and here is what I will call FINISHED. The first is as taken with no pp work. I have to unexpose slightly due to the bright sky line and then work the light back into the the foreground. On earlier attempts I may have gone too far. Rense, is this the balance we were talking about? JIM

Thanks Taff. Here is one more taken about 3-4 minutes ealrier and it is my favorite of the bunch. Funny how moving ther tri-pod slightly creates a whole new image!! JIM

Jim, those are both beautiful shots. For me the lightening of the foreground (as in shot 2) is a bit too bright... just a bit.

Hi Jim. Great effort, and the result is vergy good! However, I think I like the result of last night better. A question of taste, I guess! This one is wonderful though!
