Up close with the 18-55mm WR
Camera: K20
Posted By: xs400, 01-16-2010, 10:01 PM

My wife and I went to the local garden center to buy some plants for our yard. I brought along the K20 and new DA 18-55mm WR to shoot some flowers. I wanted to see how the 18-55mm WR would preform.

Hasn't done badly at all for the macro range - but didn't expect it to be bad at all.
It's a decent lens around f/8.

Thanks Ash. I have to admit, I am quite pleased with the 18-55mm WR. It is definitely a step up from the original kit DA 18-55mm I got with the K100D. But to be honest, my main reason for getting the WR version was for the weather resistance.

Thanks, Jim. The flowers were all growing locally in the garden center green houses. They really have some beautiful flowers. I wish I could get flowers to be that pretty in my own yard.
