Drips and Drops and Cool Sculptures
Lens: 47mm Camera: K200D Photo Location: My backyard ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/2000s Aperture: F5.6

It warmed up enough to melt ice so I made the long hard trip to my deck and took these photos.









Taken with Raynox 150 attached to 17-55 kit lens

Can't make up my mind of which of the drops (or would it be drips?) I like the best.

I like #5 as an abstract and composition is good, I think it could benefit from a little PP (levels maybe) but that would just make a good picture even better and give it a liquid silver effect.
I think the first four suffer from being in the centre of the frame.

#4 and 5 are stand outs but indeed #4 is a stiff composition.
Good texture rendition.

These are good ideas. My suggestion is to use shallow depth of field (5.6 or greater) and throw the background out of focus as much as possible. And try to avoid any "hot" (bright areas) in the background that compete with your main subjects.
