A final photo series from me for some time as I prepare to serve time away from family and friends. Come Monday it'll also be a while before I can visit the forum, so take care everyone and remember to cherish the things you hold most dear.

From one veteran to another, I salute you and thank you for your service. Yah know, you being away might give everyone else a chance to "catch up" to your number of posts. Nah, 6-months isn't enough.

It's been a while since I was in the Army Reserve ('78-'86). In my day, you didn't serve outside Australia.

Thanks to you all.
I hopefully won't be away for long - there is an initial lock-down period of 4 weeks where I'm going and from there training and mini-deployments will see me kept busy enough not to be posting everyday. Won't say where I'm going Dan, but for now I'll be on Australian shores.

Going through the final packing stages now - missing loved ones already...
Will send out a final thank you post just before I head off...
