Old cars thru a fisheye
Posted By: J.Scott, 06-25-2007, 12:41 PM

Taken this past weekend at the St. Thomas 'Wings & Wheels' show. First one is done with the 40mm Limited and the other two with Pentax 10-17mm fisheye lens. Please - no complaints about the distortion!

PP done to delete unwanted body parts from those wandering near by. My own reflection is ok, though!

No complaints about distortion here.
These a great shots that bear witness to the beauty of these old cars.
A friend of mine had a '58 Chevy like your last shot. I'm glad to see that people all over appreciate them.

There are 3 major car shows a year where I live, and I bought my 10-17FE to do just that. I cant wait until it's time. Good stuff Jeff.

Thanks! People passing by may give you some strange looks as you have to get up close and personal with the vehicles when using the fisheye lens.

The maroon one has a V16 insignia so it may be a Packard but not sure.

The yellow one is probably a 49 or 50 Ford.

Nice shots. I love my 10~17 FE!!
