I think I like the one where just her coat's in color. Of course, that's the one version you don't have - but, I think it would be my favorite. I find the pinkish reflection on her face a little off without the pink jacket. So, either b/w background, or b/w background and face, would be my faves. Nice selective desat too!

I like number 1 . Less details in the background so the child's photois stand out, IMHO

It looks like I'll be spending the weekend around Vancouver, will you be around for a coffee and possibly a short photo adventure?

I'll be there with a couple of friends, so I might not have as much time as I like but if you have a little time I should be able to meet up with you.

I'm also planning on returning around the middle of July.

#1 and the original one... #4 is really good too, I guess I am just not a complete fan of that technique yet.

I hate to be different but, I like the very last one. It gives her size and the context of the location. The first is very good too, great expression.

I'm off to B.C. on Friday by bus, going to Ashcroft to pick up my parent's old truck and 5th wheel. Should be a bit of an adventure and of course the camera will come along.

Personally, I'd go for #1, seconded by #2.

To me, #2 & 3 don't look right because of the pink around the face from the hood.
