Thanks Jim - California turkeys just seem dumb (maybe they're just stoned)... whenever I've come across them, the have just sort of wandered along doing what they were already doing, like I'm not even there.

Yeah - Northern / Central Cal., in the foothills west of Yosemite. I've seen 'em all up and down Hwy 49, but this was the first time I was ready with a camera. Glad you like the shots (but I must admit there wasn't a pentax in sight
