I think they're both lovely photos, but I especially like the second one. You could crop some of the sky off the top, but I love the feeling of the photo.

I agree that on the second shot possibly cropping a good deal of the sky out will draw the eye to the main subject.

I took a shot at taking some of the sky out, what do you think?

I'm thinking that cropping the sky to within a half an inch from the top of the mountain, and the bottom up to about midway through the corn stubble.
