My first photoshoped image in a long while...
Posted By: codiac2600, 06-26-2007, 08:44 PM

Well, I don't ever PP other than the time I did my HDR images of the water mill so everything you've seen has no sharpening or special tricks besides what you can do in ACR and I only mess with the basic sliders in there. I had a request to work on a specific picture and I spent my ten or fifteen minutes on it playing with levels and sharpening in LAB color mode and cropping the image so here is the result hope you all enjoy and C&C is always welcome and if anyone needs to know more of the process please feel free to ask.

Very impressive Chris. Is that a common house fly?

I can understand why you don't PP. I don't either anymore, except at times like yesterday when I converted those pic's to B&W
For that mater I only shoot JPG's now. I'd rather get the picture right in the camera

Hey Stu, it's actually a dragonfly that was just letting me go haywire with shots until it found out I wasn't go to pay him for his service.

That's even more impressive then Chris.

I've tried photographing dragon flies and they usually demand the payment up front to stop.
The biggest problem is I haven't found out what currency they use

They take the currency that you never carry on you and when you come back with it they go home with your girlfriend...

Great photo... you just used your Sigma macro lens or also a converter or anything else giving you more "magnification"?

That is an amazing macro. The eyes show no reflections of harsh flash at all!
