Forest Visit
Posted By: Jimbo, 01-30-2010, 01:08 PM

It was raining and there was little chance of getting any landspace shots I normally take so I tried something different. Went into a park and took some forest shots. It was raining and I was finding it hard to keep the water off the lens. I think there is more here with the right light. These were shot at 25-30 second exposures. JIM

Jimbo, great photos as usual! Also, you might want to check your spelling in the quote above. It reminded me of "christmas Vacation" for some reason. I hope that's a favorite movie of yours as it is mine.....

The first photo is really nice!
Great compose and details with green tones.
I like to photograph forest and trees so it's really nice to see these kind of photos also from Canada.
Makes me want to visit there even more.

Thank you Cupic. Really forcing myself to take all shot, no matter how good the light is, on a tri-pod with a mirror lock up. I think it has made a difference in the sharpnest of my images. JIM
